Hi I’m Chie!

I’m a website and graphic designer of 3mpStudio. On my spare time, I paint or grab my camera and explore the landscape around me. I’m an immigrant wife, mom, daughter & sister.

I started my art scribbling inside pages of books and random papers that I found around my lola’s house. I share the same creative passion with my siblings. Although we’re not of the same trade, we’re all artist by heart. Me and my older sister have a knack in dancing while my other two older sisters can belt out R&B, jazz and gospel music. I learned a lot about painting & drawing from my art mentor May. As sisters, we’re also competitive that we even play “on-the-spot art contest” to win our own space in the bedroom (whoever loose or received low art points will clean the room). Of course she wins most of the time.

I’ve been constantly exploring my passion in photography and painting. I am a self-taught mixed-media artist and photographer. Much of my work was influenced by my roots in Asia and the places I’ve lived. My inspiration starts with Light, Life and Love.

My passion and creative pursuit does not end behind the lens or with paint brush. As a web producer, I extend my art in digital and graphic design. I am the owner/freelance web and graphic designer of 3mpStudio, a web studio. I try to keep myself up to date with new innovative software and products in digital design as well as online digital marketing.
